This proceeding compiles all the articles of the participants presented in the parallel session after they had the main conference. This Annual International Conference on Islamic Education and Language (AICIEL) held in FTK UIN SMH Banten Campus has been conducted to provide an international forum to present, discuss and exchange innovative ideas and recent developments in the field of Islamic Education and Language.
Current Issue
2025: Transforming Islamic Higher Education through Innovation and Research for Sustainable Development
The 4th Annual International Conference on Islamic Education and Language (AICIEL) 2025 brought together educators, researchers, and practitioners to explore how innovation and research could transform Islamic higher education in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the theme "Transforming Islamic Higher Education through Innovation and Research for Sustainable Development," the conference featured plenary talks, parallel paper sessions, and hands-on workshops to share evidence-based practices, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and generate policy recommendations. Key speakers included Dr. Jamilah Binti Mohd Basir (health, well-being, and sustainability in early childhood education), Prof. Dr. Yudhi Arifani (digital pedagogies in ELT and educational technology), Prof. Maila D.H. Rahiem, M.A., Ph.D. (early childhood education, resilience, and values-based pedagogy), and Dr. H. Moh. Nur Arifin, M.Pd. (EFL curriculum integrating cultural and religious values for character development). The conference was held on 19–20 November 2025 at the Main Auditorium and PPG Building. It was organized and published by the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten.
