Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam membentuk karakter dan adab siswa di SDN 46 Banda Aceh. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan guru, kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PAI memiliki kontribusi penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter seperti kejujuran, sopan santun, disiplin, saling menghormati dan tanggung jawab. Guru berperan aktif tidak hanya sebagai pengajar, tetapi juga sebagai pembimbing moral dan sikap teladan. Sekolah turut mendukung melalui program keagamaan seperti shalat dhuha, pembacaan yasin, dan Gema Islami. Meskipun demikian, pembelajaran PAI menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu, motivasi siswa yang rendah, serta kurangnya keterlibatan orang tua. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan orang tua sangat diperlukan guna memaksimalkan pembentukan karakter siswa secara holistik dan mampu membentuk pribadi siswa yang berakhlak mulia.
