Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan kemampuan pedagogisitas ustadz dalam meningkatkan motivasi santri dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Artikel ini dilatar belakangi oleh keterbatasannya pemahaman masyarakat di Desa Bagendang Hilir terhadap Al-Qur’an, yang secara tidak langsung berdampak pada rendahnya kemampuan anak-anak dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Bertolak dari permasalahan ini tentunya memberikan tantangan dan tanggung jawab tersendiri bagi ustadz dalam memberikan bentuk pengabdiannya di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan dari rangkaian penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti mendapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa ustadz di Masjid Bara’atul Istihlal mampu menguasai komponen pedadogik dalam memahami karakteristik santri, menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang mendidik, memfasilitasi pengembangan potensi peserta, dan menyelenggarakan penilaian dan evaluasi proses dan hasil belajar
