Abstract

pondok pesantren adalah bentuk lembaga pendidikan pribumi tertua di Indonesia. pondok pesantren merupakan sistem pendidikan tertua saat ini dan di anggap sebagai produk budaya yang indigenous. ada dua pendapat mengenai awal berdirinya pondok pesantren di indonesia . pendapat pertama menyebutkan bahwa pondok pesantren barakar pada tradisi islam sendiri dan pendapat kedua mengatakan bahwa sistem pendidikan model pondok pesantren adalah asli indonesia
