The journal is published biannually in June and December and focuses on disseminating high-quality research by students and scholars in the field of elementary education.Since its establishment, Ibtida'i has aimed to investigate the dynamics of learning and teaching in elementary schools, including innovative strategies, curriculum development, and pedagogical approaches. The journal seeks to contribute to scholarly discussions in Indonesian primary education and welcomes a broad range of topics, including teaching practices, educational policy implementation, literacy and numeracy development, high order thinking skills and 21-st Century Skills, inclusive education, and Islamic primary education.
