PENGARUH MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP DEGRADASI MORAL GENERASI Z DALAM PERSPEKTIF PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DAN SOSIAL KEMASYARAKATAN

The era has developed rapidly in all aspects of life, changes have also occurred in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with the emergence of social media and social networks that have entered and penetrated the Z generation which is dominated by teenagers. The interaction of teenagers with their gadgets cannot be separated in everyday life. From waking up to sleeping again, gadgets can't be separated from his hands. Many of them use gadgets only to play, chat through social networks. In fact, to do things that violate norms such as watching adult films, participating in online games that smell of gambling, and so on. This journal aims to show the reality of the influence of social media on the moral degradation of Generation Z through research that we have done, then correlate it with exemplary stories found in the Koran and describe the strategy of Islamic education in the Koran as a solution to this phenomenon. This research uses the observational study method, which is also a literal research because it explores the verses of the Koran concerning adolescent problems. This study focuses on the verses of the story of the Koran, so the first and main source is the holy book of the Koran and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. Other sources are books of interpretation which are limited to a number of books that are considered representative. The results of the study concluded that the threat of adolescent moral degradation in the digital era was influenced by: 1) The concept of decency morality became loose because it was influenced by western culture as a result of the ease of finding information through ICT. 2) Global culture offers pseudo enjoyment through 3F: food, fashion and fun. 3) Society is more individualistic and less concerned with the environment, so that moral control, especially in adolescents, is low. 4) Families are less able to provide direction, because each parent already has his own busy life or even a broken home. The values contained in the story of the Qur'an become a learning method that really needs to be applied in order to create a proud generation of rabbani
