Penelitian ini berfokus pada konsep manusia dalam pendidikan Islam, khususnya melalui analisis tafsir tarbawi atas QS. Al-‘Alaq/96:1-5. Latar belakang penelitian ini berpijak pada pandangan bahwa manusia adalah makhluk unik dengan potensi intelektual dan spiritual, serta kecenderungan untuk belajar dan bergantung pada Allah SWT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji hakikat manusia sebagai makhluk pembelajar yang bergantung pada Tuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analisis, yang melibatkan interpretasi mendalam terhadap QS. Al-‘Alaq/96:1-5 melalui metode penafsiran al-Qur’an tahlīlī. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi penentuan tema, pemilihan ayat yang relevan, analisis tafsir klasik dan kontemporer, serta penyusunan temuan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Hasil utama menunjukkan bahwa hakikat manusia mencakup dua aspek: sebagai makhluk yang terus belajar dan sebagai makhluk yang senantiasa bergantung kepada Allah SWT. Kedua aspek ini menegaskan pentingnya proses pembelajaran berkelanjutan dalam Islam yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai tauhid, di mana pengetahuan menjadi sarana untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan.
