DISKURSUS EVALUASI KURIKULUM DALAM PENDIDIKAN FORMAL

Abstrak. Idealnya kurikulum direncanakan dengan baik sehingga diharapkan kurikulum sesuai dengan perencanaan tersebut. Namun, realitas kurikulum tidak efisien dan optimal dalam mencapai tujuan sehingga harus dievaluasi sebagai usaha dan tinjauan terhadap kurikulum yang telah diberlakukan, khususnya dalam rangka penyempurnaan kurikulum dan melihat efektivitasnya. Riset ini termasuk dalam qualitative-library research dengan metode analisis descriptive causal guna mengetahui konsep evaluasi pendidikan, tujuan dan fungsinya, pendekatannya, objek evaluasi kurikulum, syarat-syarat dalam evaluasi kurikulum, dan model-modelnya. Hasil penelitian ii adalah evaluasi kurikulum sangat erat kaitannya dengan penilaian dalam kurikulum sehingga tujuan utamanya adalah perbaikan dan penyempurnaan kurikulum dan berfungsi sebagai edukatif, diagnosis, instruksional dan administratif. adapun pendekatannya yaitu pendekatan kriteria pre-ordinate-fidelitym mutually adaptive, dan proses (field base).objek evaluasi kurikulum berkaitan dengan lima komponen kurikulum. Syarat evaluasi kurikulum adalah kurikulum harus goals orieted, kontinuitas pada evaluasi kurikulum, kurikulum bersifat komprehensif dan padu, kurikulum, kurikulum harus dievaluasi melalui pelbagai pendekatan, dan kurikulum berfungsi ganda, terdapat sepuluh model dalam mengevaluasi kurikulum.

Abstract. Ideally the curriculum is well planned so that it is expected that the curriculum is in accordance with the planning. However, the reality of the curriculum is not efficient and optimal in achieving its goals so it must be evaluated as an effort and review of the curriculum that has been enacted, especially in order to improve the curriculum and see its effectiveness. This research is included in qualitative-library research with descriptive causal analysis method to know the concept of educational evaluation, its purpose and function, its approach, the object of curriculum evaluation, the requirements in curriculum evaluation, and its models. The results of research ii is the evaluation of the curriculum is closely related to the assessment in the curriculum so that its main purpose is the improvement and refinement of the curriculum and serves as an educational, diagnostic, instructional and administrative. as for the approach is the approach of pre-ordinate criteria-fidelitym mutually adaptive, and process (field base). the object of curriculum evaluation is related to the five components of the curriculum. Curriculum evaluation requirements are the curriculum must be goal-orientated, continuity in curriculum evaluation, curriculum is comprehensive and cohesive, curriculum, curriculum must be evaluated through various approaches, and dual-function curriculum, there are ten models in evaluating the curriculum.
