MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SD PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROBLEM SOLVING

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is motivated by problems that arise in PAI subjects in class VI of Blacu Public Elementary School, Cilegon City. These problems are a monotonous learning atmosphere, students are less enthusiastic about attending PAI lessons and learning outcomes are less than optimal. The reason is that learning is still dominated by the lecture method. The corrective action chosen is the use of problem solving learning methods. The subjects of this study were 31 students of class VI at SD Negeri Blacu. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive approach and descriptive statistics. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, with the results of the study stating that (1) the implementation of problem solving learning models in Islamic Religious Education subjects had a positive impact on student learning outcomes (2) these indicators can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes after implementation the problem solving model, students are more enthusiastic and enthusiastic about participating in PAI lessons, educational interaction between teachers and students goes well accompanied by an optimal increase in academic abilities in PAI subjects. The increase in student learning activities can be seen from the percentage increase in cycle I by 61.29% then increased in cycle II by 93.54%. Thus this research is classified as successful in improving student learning outcomes through the application of problem solving methods.
