PENGARUH SMARTPHONE ADDICTION TERHADAP PRESTASI AKADEMIK YANG DIMODERASI NEUROTISME

Excessive use of smartphones for students will reduce the intensity of students socializing with their environment or family, this will disrupt students' social interactions. Starting from the disturbed social interaction, the sensitivity of empathy begins to erode, and unconsciously the individual will become apathetic towards other people, even those closest to them. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Smartphone Addiction on student achievement moderated by neuroticism in grade 6 SDIT Widya Cendikia. This research method uses quantitative research with path analysis techniques. The population in the research is 70 people, in this study, there were 40 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire prepared by the researcher. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) Grade 6 students at SDIT Widya Cendikia have a smartphone addiction level in the high category and learning achievement in the medium category; 2) there is a significant influence between smartphone addiction on academic achievement in grade 6 students with a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05). in conclusion, Smartphone Addiction (X) has an effect on student achievement (Y) moderated by neuroticism (M) in grade 6 SDIT Widya Cendikia.
