Abstract
Material to students, because not all learning material can be delivered verbally alone, but it needs tools (media) that can send messages or concepts of material to students. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to develop augmented reality-based learning media to improve students' vocabulary mastery at SMP IT Widya Cendekia Taktakan? How effective is the development of augmented reality-based learning media to improve students' vocabulary mastery at SMP IT Widya Cendekia Taktakan? The purpose of this development research is to find out how to develop learning media based on Augmented Reality technology to increase student vocabulary and to find out the effectiveness of learning media based on augmented reality technology to increase student vocabulary. In this research, researchers use research and development methods commonly called research and development (R&D), which are research methods used to produce a particular product, and to test the effectiveness of the product. This research and development validates and develops the product, product validation means that the benchmark actually exists and the researcher only tests the validity of the product. The results of this study are in the effectiveness, development of augmented reality-based learning media in increasing Arabic vocabulary, based on pre-test results of 38% and post-test results of 84% The difference between the two tests is 42%. This shows that augmented reality-based learning media is effective for use in learning Arabic vocabulary.
