The Role of Parents in Educating the Morals of Children with Visual Impairments (Blind) in the Cipaisan Kaum Kaler Purwakarta

The role of parents is very important in guiding their children. It is appropriate that children are given provisions as early as possible so that they have good morals. The rationale behind this research is that moral education is very important for children and of course cannot be separated from the role of parents. The aim of this research is to find out the extent to which parents educate the morals of children with visual impairments (blind) in the Cipaisan Kaum Kaler Purwakarta. This type of research is a field study that is actually carried out using descriptive qualitative methods. The research sample consisted of 2 mothers and 1 blind child aged 7 years. The collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research showed that parents in educating their children's morals are in the good category. It is proven in this research that all the roles that are indicators of success in forming morals have been carried out by parents, including: instilling obedience and submission to parents, providing good examples and role models. providing attention and supervision, all of which are within the scope of understanding and habituation, children learn at the Braile Qur'an House.
