Abstrak

The religious character of elementary school students in PAI learning is still relatively low. They think that learning PAI is difficult so they only study theory without applying it in everyday life. The low religious character of students encourages students to become lazy in carrying out activities based on a religion. The use of habituation methods is one of the factors that can influence students' religious character in PAI learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the habituation method on PAI learning in forming the religious character of elementary school students. Data sources are collected through relevant books, journals or articles. The research method used is literature study. The research results show that the habituation method in PAI learning has a positive effect on the formation of the religious character of elementary school students, such as reading prayers before and after learning; reading short suras; practice of ablution; and the practice of prayer.
