Masih rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi operasi hitung perkalian dan pembagian bilangan pecahan, serta belum maksimalnya guru dalam menggali kemampuan siswa menjadi beberapa alasan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktifitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model TGT. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setelah dilakukan tindakan ini, didapatkan hasil yang terlihat pada persentase ketuntasan belajar dan nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu Siklus I 61,11% dan 69,78, kemudian Siklus II 80,56% dan 82, 44. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi operasi hitung perkalian dan pembagian bilangan pecahan.
