Abstract

Barangkali tidak ada seorang pun yang akan menyangkal bahwa dalam setiap usaha dan kegiatan pendidikan dan pengajaran diperlukan adanya evaluasi untuk mengetahui tercapai atau tidaknya tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Setelah terjadi proses pembelajaran perlu diadakan evaluasi. Hal ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan tenaga pendidik dalam menerangkan pelajaran, dan sekaligus melatih daya serap peserta didik terhadap pelajaran yang telah diterimanya. Evaluasi yang baik adalah evaluasi yang disiapkan dengan matang dimana akan menjadi feed back yang bermanfaat bagi komponen-komponen yang berkaitan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran. Menganalisis konteks ini, maka perlu kiranya diketahui tujuan dan fungsi evaluasi, khususnya di dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab di madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
