Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an Effectiveness of Using Video Animation on the Cognitive Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years at TKIT IQRA Serang City, this research was conducted in class TK B Ismail. In this study, the method used was Pre-Experiment with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population or research object is TKIT IQRA students in Serang City. In this study, all students in TK B Ismail's class, even the semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, were taken as a sample. The data analysis technique used is to determine the average, standard deviation, normality test ( Lileefors test), homogeneity test ( Levene test) and t-test (paired sample t-test). The research results obtained a significance value or probability value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. So it is interpreted that Ho is rejected and Ha where there is the effectiveness of using animated videos on the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years.
