Penggunaan Metode Pembelajaran Inquiry Untuk Meningkatakan Hasil Belajar IPA

Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil pembelajaran yang belum mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimum yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 65. Hal tersebut terbukti dari nilai hasil UTS dari jumlah 25 siswa, hanya ada 9 siswa yang baru tuntas dan 16 siswa yang masih di bawah rata-rata nilai KKM. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor yaitu: guru dalam menyampaikan materi dalam mata pelajaran IPA menggunakan metode ceramah saja hal tersebut membuat siswa merasa jenuh dan tidak merespon materi yang disampaikan oleh guru, artinya bahwa seorang guru kurang tepat dalam penggunaan metode dan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi pokok yang disampaikan. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa setiap siklusnya mengalami peningkatan yaitu, dari siklus I, pertama seluruh siswa mencapai ketuntasan sebanyak 25 siswa dengan persentase 100%, kedua sebayak 16 siswa dengan persentase 64%, dan ketiga mencapai 15 siswa dengan persentase 60%. Sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan pada setiap unsurnya, yaitu pertama sebanyak 22 siswa dengan persentase 88%, dan kedua seluruh siswa mencapai ketuntasan dengan persentase 100%.
