The Effect of Excessive Use of TikTok Social Media has a negative effect on children aged 5-6 years related to social emotional development. In today's digital era, social media such as TikTok has become part of everyday life, including for early childhood. This study aims to describe whether or not there is an Effect of TikTok Social Media Usage Duration on the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years in Nembol Village, Pandeglang Regency. The method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The study population was all parents who have children aged 5-6 years, with a sample size of 30 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured the duration of TikTok Usage Influence and indicators of children's social emotional development. The results showed that the longer the duration of children using TikTok, the greater the potential for negative behavior such as lack of social interaction, difficulty controlling emotions, and speech delays. On the other hand, the Influence of TikTok Use that is limited and accompanied by parents can show better interaction and emotional regulation skills. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of parents in limiting and directing the Influence of Children's Social Media Use from an early age in order to support healthy social emotional development.
