Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan Prezi Desktop sebagai media pembelajaran di IAIN SMH Banten. Jenis penelitian ini adalah  penelitian survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh dosen di IAIN SMH Banten. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan sampling incidental.  Berdasarkan pengambilan sampel diperoleh 32 orang dosen IAIN SMH Banten dari semua fakultas yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa a) media  presentasi Prezi Desktop belum banyak dikenal oleh dosen di IAIN SMH, b) Proses instalasi aplikasi prezi desktop yang membutuhkan koneksi internet dana akun yang terdaftar pada situs prezi.com, c) Ukuran file yang cukup besar jika dibandingkan dengan media presentasi PowerPoint, d) Tersedia aplikasi prezi desktop versi trial dengan limit waktu 30 hari, e) Bagi yang baru menggunakan prezi desktop butuh kesabaran dalam membuat presentasi karena aplikasi ini agak berbeda dengan media presentasi Power Point.
