Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode eksperimen dengan Metode Struktural Analitik Sintetik terhadap prestasi membaca dan menulis siswa kelas MIN 2. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan tehnik pengumpulan data wawancara dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan Mann Withney pada posttest penerapan metode Structural Analitik Sintetik adalah tidak signifikan. Hal ini berarti metode Structural Analitik Sintetik tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar membaca dan menulis siswa. Hasil akhir dari hasil posttest setelah perlakuan diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu 77,73 > 68,00, maka rata-rata hasil keterampilan menulis Bahasa Indonesia siswa dengan penerapkan metode Structural Analitik Sintetik lebih tinggi dari pembelajaran metode konvensional, walaupun nilai rata-rata tinggi tetapi tidak signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa prestasi membaca dan menulis dalam menggunakan metode Structural Analitik Sintetik tidak berpengaruh.
