Analisis ini dilatar belakangi adanya beberapa temuan kekurangsesuaian buku teks kurikulum 2013. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ialah mencoba untuk mengetahui letak kekurangsesuaian isi buku teks siswa tersebut berdasarkan emapat aspek: aspek spritual, aspek sosial, aspek pengetahuan dan aspek keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari segi materi buku teks siswa kelas IV SD/MI Tema Cita-Citaku dengan kurikulum 2013 sudah sesuai dengan empat aspek yang terdapat dalam setiap KI. Dalam aspek spritual tidak semua pembelajaran dari setiab subtema terdapat kalimat spritual, dalam aspek sosial sudah sesuai dikarenakan dalam setiap pembelajaran dari tiap subtema memiliki aspek sosial, sikap positip dan karakter, dalam aspek pengetahuan mengenai
keluasan materi bahwasannya sudah sesuai, dalam aspek keterampilan dalam kurikulum 2013 ini memiliki keterampilan yang bagus dalam keterkaitan materi, komunikasi, kemenarikan materi dan mencari informasi lebih lanjut sudah sesuai.
