This study aims to provide an overview of the importance of guidance and counseling for the mental health of final year students as a student assistance center. Students often face problems that are difficult to overcome, especially regarding the task of completing their final studies. Thus, stress, anxiety, depressive symptoms, and other psychological problems are often encountered, which have a significant negative impact on mental health. If these problems cannot be handled properly, they can lead to bigger and wider problems, due to the density of activities that must be done simultaneously. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method (case study) because the data presented is in the form of descriptive narratives. The primary data source of this research is the Academic Advisor lecturer. As for the secondary data, researchers used books and journals related to Guidance and Counseling in Higher Education and mental health. Data collection techniques in this study the author used interview and observation methods. While the data analysis technique the author uses data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research findings show that the assistance center for final year students needs to be held through guidance and counseling for mental health as an effort by universities to provide assistance to student problems, especially problems that cannot be handled by themselves and require professional assistance.
