Abstract

The affective domain has a connection with student attitudes or behaviour. The affective domain of students can be influenced by the teacher's inaccuracy in applying learning methods. The purpose of this study is to discuss and find out about the PAI teacher's strategy for overcoming affective domain problems in PAI learning at SMA Negeri 4 South Tangerang City. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive type by using the case study method. The primary data source is the Islamic Religious Education Teacher of SMA Negeri 4 South Tangerang City, while the secondary data source is obtained from documentation and observation related to the data in this study. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and document examination. As for checking the validity of the data, this research uses credibility by extending observation, increasing persistence in research and triangulation. The results of this study can conclude that the PAI teacher's strategy in overcoming the problematic affective domain in PAI learning shows that the PAI teacher's strategy in overcoming the problematic affective domain in PAI learning is through teacher exemplary teacher approaches that make an example to students to have a better personality, as well as providing sanctions for students who violate the rules at school and in class.
