Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA Pada Pokok Bahasan Cahaya Dan Sifat-Sifatnya Melalui Metode Eksperimen

Proses pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SDN Gunung Cupu 1 masih menggunakan model konvensional, sehingga dalam proses pembelajarannya hanya berjalan satu arah, dan menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa masih banyak yang belum mencapai KKM. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran salah satunya melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertama, penerapan metode eksperimen sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang ada dalam metode eksperimen yang dilakukan dengan baik. Kedua, hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang dapat dilihat dari perolehan nilai dari setiap siklus. Pada tahap siklus I persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 29,16%. Dan pada tahap siklus II persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 75%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode eksperimen pada pembelajaran IPA pada pokok bahasan cahaya dan sifatnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
