Strengthening Learning Priorities in the 21st Century: Review of Islamic Education Policy in Indonesia

Kebijakan pendidikan Islam (IEP) saat ini sangat penting untuk menjaga relevansi pendidikan di Indonesia dalam menghadapi era globalisasi yang berkembang pesat. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dapat ditingkatkan agar sesuai dengan tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Artikel ini adalah jenis kepustakaan, dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui dari empat sumber “Google Scholar”, “ScienceDirect”, “DOAJ”, and “RISE”. Temuan diskusi dalam penelitian ini menyoroti dan memberikan kontribusi kepada pengambil kebijakan pendidikan untuk memprioritaskan pembelajaran abad 21 yang meliputi: membuat komitmen untuk menguasai keterampilan dasar literasi dan numerasi; mengukur pembelajaran secara teratur, akurat dan relevan; menyesuaikan sistem dengan komitmen pembelajaran; mendukung guru dalam pembelajaran; dan perubahan pendekatan dalam pembuatan kebijakan pendidikan. Selain itu, IEP harus dapat menanggapi permintaan ini dengan mempertahankan nilai-nilai agama sebagai dasar utama. Kajian ini menunjukkan betapa pentingnya reformasi kebijakan yang berfokus pada penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan, peningkatan kualitas guru, dan kurikulum yang inovatif. Oleh karena itu, IEP di Indonesia harus dirancang untuk menciptakan generasi berpengetahuan luas yang dapat memperbaiki masa depannya menjadi generasi unggul.
