Abstrak

Pendidikan karakter memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk nilai, sikap, dan perilaku individu, yang penting untuk keberhasilan transisi mereka ke dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pendidikan karakter dengan kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa pendidikan kimia. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket pendidikan karakter dan kesiapan kerja. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 69 orang mahasiswa pendidikan kimia yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Product Moment Pearson Correlation. Uji ini diperoleh r = 0,532 dengan p = 0,000 < 0,01. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pendidikan karakter dan kesiapan kerja pada mahasiswa kimia pada taraf 1%.
