Kemahiran linguistik bahasa Inggris merupakan suatu kebutuhan di era globalisasi, karena bahasa Inggris merupakan alat utama dalam komunikasi internasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap upaya sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris, mengungkap program keteladanan dan implikasinya bagi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Selanjutnya, teknik analisis data diterapkan dari awal hingga kesimpulan penelitian. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya sekolah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris siswa terlihat jelas di lingkungan sekolah, diwujudkan melalui penggunaan pengumuman, radio sekolah, petunjuk, dan pajangan di berbagai area sekolah yang seluruhnya menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Selain itu, sekolah mendorong siswanya untuk menggunakan bahasa Inggris ketika bertindak sebagai Pembawa Acara. Upaya sekolah ini didukung oleh program-program teladan seperti penggunaan buku teks matematika, sains, dan TIK berbahasa Inggris, ceramah agama, pembacaan hadis, ESL, pin "I Speak English", paparan internasional, dan presentasi laporan buku. Penerapan _ program-program teladan ini telah memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa, meningkatkan reputasi sekolah yang berprestasi di kota ini ke tingkat internasional.
