Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit an article to the Teacher Professional Education Journal (TPE Journal) are required to follow the guidelines below.

General Requirements

  1. Articles submitted to the Teacher Professional Education Journal must report original research related to educational issues within the journal's Focus and Scope.

  2. Manuscripts must be at least 10 pages in length and prepared on A4-size paper with 2.2 cm margins on all sides.

  3. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.

  4. Manuscripts ready for publication must be submitted through the Online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS) available on the Teacher Professional Education Journal portal:

Title

The article title must contain no more than 14 words. The title should be written in uppercase letters, centered, using Book Antiqua, 14-point font.

Author Information

The author's name must be written without academic or professional titles, followed by the author's institutional affiliation, institutional address, and email address. Author information should be placed below the article title using Book Antiqua, 11-point font.

Abstract

The Abstract and Keywords must be provided in both Indonesian and English. Each abstract should contain a maximum of 250 words, while 3–5 keywords or keyword phrases should be provided.

The abstract should briefly present the research background, objectives, methods, findings, and conclusion. The English version of the abstract should be written in italics and single spacing.

Introduction

The INTRODUCTION section should present the research background, research context, relevant literature review, research questions, research objectives, and significance of the study. All elements should be presented coherently and integratively in an essay format.

Method

The METHOD section should be presented in paragraph form and describe the research design, data sources (population, sample, or participants), data collection techniques, and data analysis procedures actually employed in the study.

Findings and Discussion

The FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION section should present the results of the analysis in relation to the research questions. Each research finding must be discussed. The discussion should interpret the findings and relate them to relevant theories and/or comparable previous studies.

Conclusion

The CONCLUSION section should provide a concise summary of the research findings, addressing the research questions or presenting the main insights derived from the discussion. The conclusion should be presented briefly in paragraph form.

References

The REFERENCES section should include only sources cited in the manuscript, and all cited sources must appear in the reference list. At least 80% of the references should be published within the last 10 years.

Authors are encouraged to use primary sources, particularly research articles published in scholarly journals and research reports, including undergraduate theses, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations.
