Focus and Scope

Teacher Professional Education Journal (TPE Journal) is a peer-reviewed national multidisciplinary journal that focuses on learning, instruction, teaching, and teacher professional education. The journal provides a platform for publishing original research and scholarly contributions addressing learning, development, instruction, teaching, and educational practices across various educational levels and contexts.

The journal welcomes original research articles that employ diverse theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches. The scope encompasses various age groups and educational settings, from early childhood to adulthood, as well as diverse learning environments, ranging from classroom-based studies to field research. The primary criterion for the review and selection of manuscripts is their significant contribution to the development of learning, instruction, teaching, and educational practices.

Teacher Professional Education Journal covers the following areas:

1. Learning Theory and Practice

Innovative learning designs, strategies, approaches, models, and methods across various educational levels; technology integration in education, including digital learning, e-learning, blended and hybrid learning, and artificial intelligence in education.

2. Curriculum and Learning Development

Curriculum development and implementation, including national and Merdeka Curriculum initiatives; learning evaluation and assessment; character education and the Pancasila Student Profile; teacher professionalism and professional competency development; reflective teaching practices; classroom action research; teacher professional education (PPG); and teacher training and continuing professional development.

3. Early Childhood Education

Cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and moral development in early childhood; educational media and learning through play; child-centered learning; and holistic approaches to early childhood education in PAUD, kindergarten, and Raudhatul Athfal (RA) settings.

4. Primary and Secondary Education

Innovative teaching and learning practices in primary and secondary education, including SD/MI, SMP/MTs, and SMA/MA/SMK; literacy, numeracy, and science education; character development; and the development of 21st-century skills.

5. Educational Evaluation, Policy, and Management

Educational policies and their implementation in schools and educational institutions; educational management; academic supervision; school leadership; quality assurance; and institutional quality improvement.

6. Educational Innovation and Technology

The development and utilization of digital learning media and educational applications; project-based learning; STEM education; inclusive education; differentiated instruction; and other innovations that support effective and equitable learning.

7. Religious and Values Education

The integration of spiritual, moral, cultural, and ethical values into learning and teaching; religious education; character education; and the integration of local wisdom and cultural values into educational practices.

Saya juga menambahkan physical development pada PAUD karena secara akademik lebih lengkap untuk cakupan perkembangan anak usia dini.
