Lingua: Jurnal Keilmuan dan Kependidikan Bahasa Arab is published Arabic Education Department, Faculty of Education and Teachers Training, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, Indonesia since 2015. This journal emphasizes the study of Arabic linguistics and Arabic language education, welcoming original contributions from scholars and researchers in related fields.

The Scope journal covers various aspects of Arabic language learning, including the teaching and learning of Arabic for non-native speakers, Arabic teaching curriculum, development of teaching materials, teaching methods and strategies, instructional media, instructional evaluation and assessment, Arabic language teaching technology, the use of information and communication technology in Arabic language instruction, Arabic for specific purposes, Arabic linguistics, Modern Standard Arabic, Arabic as a second language acquisition, Arabic literature, history of the Arabic language, history of Arabic language education, and Arabic Islamic culture.

Publication History: Lingua published its inaugural issue (Volume 1) in 2015. Historically, from Volume 1 (2015) to Volume 10 (2024), the journal was published exclusively in a printed format and did not utilize an electronic management system.

Starting in 2025 (Volume 11), Lingua has officially migrated to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) to expand its accessibility and readership. Consequently, the digital archives available on this website commence from Volume 11 (2025) onwards. Previous editions (Vol 1–10) are maintained in the publisher's physical archives.
