Abstract

The library has a very important role for education. Library is not only used as a place to place books, but the library can be used as a place to study and a place to study and get a source of information. This paper aims to determine the nature of effectiveness, service, school libraries, the effectiveness of school library services, and the ideal school library as a center for information literacy. The school library service aims to present information in the interest of improving the implementation of teaching and learning process and recreation for all citizens of the school by using the library materials they have. As a service institution, the success of the library is highly dependent on the system and the implementation of its service aspects to its users. In general, successful libraries are libraries that are frequently visited by the users to utilize the sources of information contained therein.
