Academic Resilience of Lecturers at State and Private Islamic Universities During the Pandemic: Meaning, Adaptation, and Innovation

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang pemaknaan ketangguhan akademik oleh dosen di kedua perguruan tinggi tersebut dan apa saja pemaknaan, adaptasi, dan inovasi yang dilakukan responden untuk meningkatkan ketangguhan akademiknya dalam menjalankan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Formulir Google mengumpulkan survei online dari profesor perguruan tinggi agama Islam negeri dan swasta. Jajak pendapat disebar via WhatsApp ke seluruh jaringan dosen PTAI Negeri dan Swasta. Menurut penelitian, responden mendefinisikan ketangguhan akademik sebagai kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan diri dalam menghadapi hambatan dan tuntutan selama proses belajar mengajar dalam situasi yang menuntut. Hanya sebagian kecil responden yang melihat ketangguhan akademik terkait dengan kemampuan siswa untuk beradaptasi dengan tantangan dan tekanan selama proses belajar di lingkungan yang menuntut. Sebagian besar responden memandang perlunya adaptasi dan inovasi dalam kegiatan tridharma perguruan tinggi, pelayanan administrasi akademik, dan pengelolaan sumber daya pendukung kegiatan akademik. Sebagian besar responden juga menilai signifikansi faktor pribadi dan profesional yang berkontribusi terhadap ketangguhan akademik sebagai seorang guru.
