Journal History

Ibtida’i Journal was first published in 2014 and has been regularly issued biannually in June and December. Since its establishment, the journal has been available in an online format. It is published in collaboration with the Association of Lecturers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PD-PGMI Indonesia).

Ibtida’i Journal serves as a scholarly communication platform for researchers, academics, educators, practitioners, and students to publish and disseminate scientific works, with a strong emphasis on original research. The journal focuses on areas related to learning planning, instructional processes, and learning evaluation; curriculum management; educational management; inclusive education; local wisdom and cultural heritage in education; as well as the development of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in basic education, particularly at the elementary and primary school levels.

 
URL TRANSITION IN JOURNAL MANAGEMENT
In pursuit of enhanced efficacy in journal administration, a strategic decision was made to effectuate the migration of our erstwhile Uniform Resource Locator (URL), namely https://jurnal.uinbanten.ac.id/index.php/ibtidai, to a new web address, specifically https://ftk.uinbanten.ac.id/journals/index.php/ibtidai, since November 10, 2023. This transition has been executed, encompassing the meticulous redirection of all extant URL links to their corresponding counterparts within the new web address framework. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the reconfiguration has been orchestrated in a manner that obviates the necessity for authors to proactively update the URLs associated with their respective articles within diverse indexing profiles, including but not limited to Google Scholar or Sinta Kemdikbud. However, authors retain the option to effect such updates at their discretion.
