Retraction Policy

Articles published in Ibtida'i: Jurnal Kependidikan Dasar may be subject to retraction under the following circumstances:

  1. Unreliable Findings
    There is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either due to academic misconduct (e.g., data fabrication or falsification) or honest error (e.g., miscalculations, flawed methodology, or experimental mistakes).

  2. Redundant Publication
    The findings have been previously published elsewhere without appropriate citation, permission, or justification, constituting a case of duplicate or redundant publication.

  3. Plagiarism
    The manuscript is found to contain plagiarized content, either partially or wholly, from other sources without proper acknowledgment or citation.

  4. Unethical Research
    The article reports research that violates established ethical standards, such as studies conducted without appropriate informed consent, approval by an ethics committee, or that involve unethical treatment of human or animal subjects.


Retraction Process

  • The retraction process will be conducted in accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines.

  • The article will remain accessible in the archive, but will be clearly marked as “Retracted”, including the reason for retraction and the date it was retracted.

  • The decision to retract an article will be made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board and, if necessary, external reviewers or academic integrity bodies.
