Ibtida'i: Jurnal Kependidikan Dasar is a national, open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. The journal is published biannually in June and December and focuses on disseminating high-quality research by students and scholars in the field of elementary education.

Since its establishment, Ibtida'i has aimed to investigate the dynamics of learning and teaching in elementary schools, including innovative strategies, curriculum development, and pedagogical approaches. The journal seeks to contribute to scholarly discussions in Indonesian primary education and welcomes a broad range of topics, including teaching practices, educational policy implementation, literacy and numeracy development, high order thinking skills and 21-st Century Skills, inclusive education, and Islamic primary education. Ibtida'i has been registered with the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) International Centre, with the following identifiers: p-ISSN 2407-3571 and e-ISSN 2654-4245.

Since 2018, Ibtida'i has been accredited by the National Journal Accreditation System (ARJUNA) managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. It was designated as a Fifth Grade journal (SINTA 5) according to Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025.

Ibtida'i has been indexed in several national and international indexing services, including SINTA, Google Scholar, PKP Index, GARUDA, and Moraref. All prospective authors are advised to read and follow the author's guidelines carefully before submitting their manuscripts. Submissions that do not comply with the journal's formatting and thematic scope will not be processed for review. Only manuscripts meeting the editorial criteria will be accepted for peer review.

Invitation to Submit Manuscript for Volume 12 Issue 2 December 2025 publication

We invite authors, lecturers, researchers, and students to submit their best articles for publication in Volume 12, Issue 2, December 2025. The theme for this edition is the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and/or Elementary Schools. Please submit your article no later than October 31, 2025. We will select articles in the order they are received and confirm them before processing.

In this edition, the editorial board presents ten scholarly articles, comprising nine original research articles and one literature review. These contributions originate from various higher education institutions across Indonesia, including UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, Universitas Islam Lamongan, Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari, Universitas Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung, Universitas Bina Bangsa Serang Banten, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Universitas Al-Hikmah, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri, IAI Khozinatul Ulum, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Salatiga, and UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.

All manuscripts featured in this issue address current and relevant issues related to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on strategies, media, pedagogical approaches, and practical learning innovations within primary education settings.
