Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media hand puppet terhadap keterampilan menyimak Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Materi Mendengarkan Cerita. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan design “Nonequivalent Control Group Design” yang menggunakan dua kelompok yaitu, kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN Cipicung 2 yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes, Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media hand puppet terhadap keterampilan menyimak pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Materi Mendengarkan Cerita. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan t-test dengan taraf signifikasi 5% diperoleh t tabel adalah, 2,021. Kemudian thitung diperoleh 2,029 > dari ttabel yaitu 2,021. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut t hitung > dari t tabel sehingga dapat diperoleh adanya pengaruh yang signifikan hasil posttest kelompok eksprimen dan kontrol. Hal tersebut juga ditunjukkan dari nilai rata-rata hasil posttest yaitu kelompok eksperimen sebesar 76,5 dan kontrol 67,5 .
