Abstract

Permasalahan ketidak aktifan siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika adalah siswa kelihatannya jenuh mengikuti pelajaran matematika dan siswa kurang memperhatikan terhadap pembelajaran sehingga mengakibatkan hasil belajar rendah. Salah satu solusi masalah yang dianggap sesuai dalam pembelajaran tersebut adalah dengan penerapan motode resitasi. Metode resitasi adalah cara penyajian bahan pelajaran dimana guru memberikan tugas tertentu agar murid melakukan kegiatan belajar, kemudian harus dipertanggungjawabkannya. Tugas yang diberikan oleh guru dapat memperdalam bahan pelajaran, dan dapat pula mengecek bahan yang telah dipelajari. Tugas dan resitasi merangsang anak untuk aktif belajar baik secara individual maupun kelompok. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, terdiri atas: perencanaan, tindakan observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan hasil belajar pada tiap siklus. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan metode resitasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan operasi perkalian pecahan.
