Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingkat keterampilan berbicara siswa yang masih rendah, sehingga menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa belum memenuhi  standar kelulusan yaitu 70. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan metode make a match pada pembelajaran mata pelajaran Bahasa Indo-nesia pokok bahasan pemeliharaan panca indera serta penggunaan alat teknologi.diharapkan hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, untuk menerapkan metode make a match. Dan kedua untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus tindakan dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari rencana, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran make a match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa pada mata pelajatan Bahasa Indonesia, pada akhirnya hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia pun ada peru-bahan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari semakin tingginya peran serta siswa dalam pembelajaran dan keaktifan siswa pun meningka. Hal ini juga dapat dilihat pada peningkatan antara siklis 1 dan siklus 2, yaitu dengan nilai siklus 1 69, 375 dan siklus 2 72, 325.
