Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian
variasi shuttlecock terhadap penempatan smash dalam permainan
Badminton di SDN 1 Sukarame mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler
bulutangkis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu,
dengan sampel 40 siswa dan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok kelas eksperimen
dan kontrol. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t melalui uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pretest-Postest
Control Group Design.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh variasi Shuttlecock Throw
pada penempatan hasil smash pada permainan Badminton siswa SDN 1
Sukarame yang ikut serta dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Badminton. Ini
dibuktikan dengan uji-t pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol 0,000
kurang dari 0,05 (Sig <0,05). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan
smash pada mereka yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Bulu
Tangkis kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengambil kelas
kontrol kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Bulu Tangkis.
Pemberian variasi pukulan lemparan dapat mempengaruhi penempatan
smash dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Badminton. Praktek memberikan
variasi lemparan lemparan tembakan terus menerus serta waktu untuk
bermain lebih banyak, dapat meningkatkan hasil smash. Siswa
(keterampilan) dalam permainan Bulu Tangkis, banyak latihan dan teknik
menguasai dalam permainan Bulu Tangkis dan keseriusan siswa dalam
berlatih secara teratur lebih sering berlatih, dapat meningkatkan kondisi
fisik siswa. Permainan bulutangkis membutuhkan servis, lob, smash,
dropshot, dan drive.
