Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah penggunaan media dan metode yang bervariasi pada pembelajaran PKn di Kelas VI SD serta bagaimana peningkatan kemampunan pemahaman siswa yang terjadi setelah tindakan diberikan, khususnya tentang pemilu. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas 2 (dua) siklus. Desain PTK yang digunakan adalah desain Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, di mana pelaksanaan pengamatan dilakukan bersamaan dengan pemberian tindakan saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman siswa tentang pemilu dengan penggunaan media dan metode yang bervariasi pada pembelajaran PKn.
