PENGGUNAAN METODE BUZZ GROUP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA MATERI PERUBAHAN LINGKUNGAN FISIK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa yang rendah pada mata pelajaran IPA pada materi perubahan lingkungan fisik di kelas IV SDN Kriyan Kecamatan Lebakwangi Kabupaten Serang. Hal ini disebabkan karena dalam pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru, siswa hanya menerima informasi dari guru dan kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran sehingga hasil belajar siswa rendah. Maka diperlukan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Sebagai alternatif solusi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA, yaitu metode Buzz Group. Penggunaan metode Buzz Group diharapkan dapat merubah hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menigkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA pada materi perubahan lingkungan fisik dengan menggunakan metode Buzz Group di kelas IV SDN Kriyan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I yaitu mencapai 64 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 50%, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 75,68 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 81,82%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Buzz Group dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan fisik.
