MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN SEDERHANA MELALUI MEDIA GAMBAR

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SDN Pipitan Kec.Walantaka Kota Serang masih kurang terutama pada keterampilan siswa dalam kegiatan menulis dan kesulitan dalam menulis cerita atau menanggapi cerita yang diajukan oleh guru untuk ditulis kembali khususnya dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan sederhana menggunakan tanda baca, ejaan yang benar. Hal tersebut salah satunya disebabkan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang bervariatif. Permasalahan tersebut perlu adanya suatu cara atau media pembelajaran yang dianggap menarik, menyenangkan serta variatif sehingga diharapkan ada peningkatan hasil dan aktivitas belajar terutama menulis karangan sederhana melalui media gambar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada hasil belajar yang awalnya pada prasiklus hanya mencapai nilai rata-rata 58,51 dan setelah peneliti menggunakan media gambar siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya dalam keterampilan menulis. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 60,74 dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-ratanya mencapai 70.
