EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN ALAT PERAGA CORONG BERHITUNG TERHADAP KONSEP PEMAHAMAN MATEMATIKA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan alat peraga corong berhitung terhadap konsep pemahaman matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat di SDIT Cahaya La Royba. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Eksperimen (Pre-Eksperimental Design), menggunakan desain penelitian The Static Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji t-test dua sampel independen diperoleh hasil thitung = 2,497 dan ttabel = 2,000. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak. Hasil dari penelitian efektivitas penggunaan alat peraga corong berhitung terhadap konsep pemahaman matematika pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen adalah 31,92 dan rata-rata nilai posttest adalah 61,61. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pretest kelas kontrol adalah 32,47 dan rata-rata nilai posttest adalah 49,65. Dari penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga corong berhitung efektif terhadap konsep pemahaman matematis siswa.
