Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor penyebab yang mempengaruhi siswa sulit untuk membaca. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Al –Hidayah Gorda. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Kualitatif Deskriptif . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dinyatakan  bahwa 39% siswa  yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyuarakan tulisan, 35% siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam kewajaran pelafalan dari keseluruhan, 44% siswa yang mengalami kesulitan pengucapan intonasi, 56% siswa yang mengalami kesulitan kelancaran dalam membaca, 52% siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam kejelasan suara dalam membaca, 22% siswa yang mengalami kesulitan kesulitan dalam mengucapkan huruf vokal, 30% siswa yang  mengalami kesulitan dalam mengucapkan bunyi konsonan, 48% siswa  yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi teks bacaan, 13% siswa  yang mengalami kesulitan dalam ketepatan penggunaan bahasa berdasarkan EYD, 56% siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam ketepatan pengucapan tanda baca. Faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa sulit membaca yaitu faktor Internal yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa. Faktor Ekternal yaitu berasal dari luar diri siswa.
