PENERAPAN METODE ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN TEKS CERITA (PTK di kelas IV SDN Kedungsoka 2)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui deskripsi metode role playing yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman teks cerita pada siswa kelas IV mata pelaϳaran Bahasa Indonesia 2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman teks cerita pada siswa kelas IV menggunakan metode Role Playing.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Dengan model Kemmis dan Mc.Teggart yang terdiri dari dua siklus setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/pengamatan dan refleksi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Role Playing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, hal ini dibuktikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 58,00 dan siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 5 siswa dengan presentase 33,33% sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata mencapai 74,00 dan siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 13 siswa dengan presentase ketuntasan mencapai 86,66%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Role Playing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa bahasa indonesia tentang memahami teks cerita.
