UPAYA PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA TENTANG PERUBAHAN KENAMPAKAN BUMI MELALUI METODE COURSE REVIEW HORAY

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar IPA yang kurang memuaskan pada kelas IV dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi perubahan kenampakan bumi di SDN Sumber Agung Kota Serang. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil tes siswa yang belum mendapatkan hasil belajar sesuai dengan nilai KKM yang telah ditetapkan oleh pihak sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegetahui hasil belajar IPA pada materi perubahan kenampakan bumi di SDN Sumber Agung Kota Serang dengan menggunakan metode course review horay dan untuk mengetahui aktifitas siswa terhadap pelajaran IPA pada materi perubahan kenampakan bumi dengan menggunakan metode course review horay. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas IV tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah 33 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan 2 kali pertemuan pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan peresentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 mencapai 72% dengan nilai rata-rata 72 dan pada siklus II presentase ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 94% dengan nilai rata-rata 75. Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan metode course review horay pada mata pelajaran IPA materi perubahan kenampakan bumi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Sumber Agung Kota Serang.
