EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA MANIPULATIF MIKA TRANSPARAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MATERI PECAHAN

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan Media manipulatif mika transparan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan penjumlahan pecahan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi yang digunakan seluruh siswa Kelas IV semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 di Kecamatan Pulosari dengan sampel 43 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, Teknik analisis data dengan menentukan rata-rata, menghitung simpangan baku, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji- t. Hasil penelitian yang diajarkan dengan media manipulatif mika transparan memperoleh rata-rata nilai 75,8 sedangkan pada pembelajaran biasa (konvensional) memperoleh rata-rata nilai 56,2. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Hasil Belajar matematika materi penjumlahan pecahan Kelas IV dengan menggunakan media manipulatif lebih tinggi dibanding dengan pembelajaran biasa (konvensional) ( yaitu 3,623 ˃ 1,684). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media manipulatif mika transparan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan materi pecahan.
